About the Highland Falls-Fort
The Highland Falls–Fort Montgomery Parent-Teacher Partnership (HFFM PTP) is a collaborative organization dedicated to enriching the educational experience of all students from Pre-K through 8th grade. We provide opportunities for parents, teachers, and administrators to work together, ensuring our children benefit from enhanced school experiences and lasting, positive memories. Our volunteer hours and fundraising efforts directly support both Fort Montgomery Elementary School (FMES) and Highland Falls Intermediate School (HFIS). We prioritize fundraising methods that not only generate essential funds but also create meaningful, memorable experiences for students. Each year, the PTP allocates funds to support grade-level field trips, special events, and enrichment opportunities. Importantly, we help offset the cost of these trips to reduce the financial burden on families—ensuring that every child has the opportunity to participate in out-of-the-classroom learning experiences. Additionally, we provide commemorative t-shirts for 2nd and 8th grade students celebrating their moving-up ceremonies. Annual Programs and Events We Support or Organize Include:
We collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and the Board of Education to ensure all children in our district have access to educational opportunities, extracurricular activities, and enhancements that elevate their school experience. The PTP consists of:
The PTP has consistently worked to raise educational standards in our district without placing additional financial pressure on families. By maintaining flexibility in how we direct our funds, and through collaboration with school leadership and families, we ensure that every dollar raised positively impacts students. Our mission is to promote the well-being and success of every child in our schools. We strive to bridge school and home life by fostering meaningful partnerships with families and creating inclusive opportunities for parent involvement in school activities and planning. |
